Tip: Control the weight on both the positive and negative portions of the movement, pressing the bar to full extension at the top without locking out. Use a bench with a sturdy racking attachment for safety.

Tip: Keep the knee of your working leg over your toes - not behind them - when stepping up and down off the bench.
