Tip: Curl up, raising your shoulder blades off the ground as high as you can. Contract your abs hard and exhale.

Standing Calf Raise
Tip: Squeeze your calves hard for a half-second at the top of the movement, and go deep for a good stretch at the bottom. Don't lock out your knees; keep just a slight bend in them.
