A multi a day keeps the doctor away
December 22, 2011

You’ve been taking vitamins since before you can remember, but if you need another reason, consider this: New research shows that women who take a daily multivitamin may be at a reduced risk of heart attacks. A study published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition observed multivitamin use to be inversely associated with myocardial infarction in women with no history of cardiovascular disease. The researchers noted that the association grew stronger with long-term use, and was not affected by how often the vitamins were taken.
